Lydia Greene Joins Tufts Health Plan Foundation Board

WATERTOWN, MA – August 3, 2017 – Tufts Health Plan Foundation today announced Lydia Greene, senior vice president and chief human resources officer for Tufts Health Plan, has joined the Foundation’s board of directors as a management representative. Greene has worked at Tufts Health Plan since 2004.

“Lydia has a strong commitment to community and a personal and professional passion for advancing older adults in the workplace and in their lives,” said Thomas P. O’Neill, III, chairman of the Tufts Health Plan Foundation board. “She will be an asset to our board.”

At Tufts Health Plan, Greene is responsible for human resources, including compensation and benefits, diversity initiatives, wellness, talent acquisition and organizational development. She also oversees internal and external communications and company real estate and facilities.

“Older adults are tremendous assets to our communities, and I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the work of the Foundation,” said Greene. “Momentum for age-friendly work is building. I am confident we will continue to make progress by working with community partners to achieve age-friendly policies and practices throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.”

Prior to joining Tufts Health Plan in 2004, Greene held senior level human resources management positions with Progress Software, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Hampshire, Lockheed Sanders and Emerson Hospital.

Greene is the chair of the Operation A.B.L.E. board and co-chairs the board of the Boston Y Achievers program. She also serves as co-chair of the Jobs Committee as part of Perkins School for the Blind’s Perkins-Business Partnership.

Greene received her B.S. degree in management from the University of Massachusetts.
