how to apply
The Tufts Health Plan Foundation makes grants to nonprofit organization whose programs best exemplify activities that lead to beneficial outcomes for older adults in our three Healthy Aging focus areas: Health & Wellness, Purposeful Engagement and Empowerment.
For your convenience, our application process is fully electronic. Your grant application must be submitted to our Foundation by the due date. Our system will not allow proposal submissions after the deadline, even if your work is already in progress.
How to Apply
Step 1 – Eligibility Quiz
Click the link above to complete your online eligibility quiz – you’ll be asked to answer seven questions.
Step 2 – Register and create your secure online account
Once you complete your eligibility quiz and are qualified for charitable support, you’ll be asked to create a password and register for online access. You will need your grant invitation code and, if applicable, your Tax ID number.
Step 3 – Letter of Inquiry
After successfully registering online, you’ll be asked to complete your Letter of Inquiry – submission of your Letter of Inquiry is only available through our online process. We will notify you within 2 - 4 weeks of our decision. If your inquiry does not result in our request for a full grant proposal, your organization may submit a new Letter of Inquiry in a future funding cycle.
Step 4 – Invitation to Submit Full Proposal
If your organization’s Letter of Inquiry is approved, you’ll be notified and invited to submit a full grant proposal for further grant consideration. You’ll be emailed an electronic access code, link to our online grant application, a Measurements and Impact toolkit, and deadline for completion.
Step 5 – Notification of Funding
Organizations are notified of funding decisions on or around the dates indicated in the Due Dates section.
